Rev. R. L. Bush On July 30, 2006, Rev. R. L. Bush & The New Swan Silvertones recorded a concert at New Birth Christian Center, Savannah, Georgia. As a result of that recording, in 2007 the group released the concert in the form of a CD titled Live & Up Close. The recording contained thirteen songs. The hit song on the CD was “Super Man.”

The recording received some attention from quartet gospel Radio Angels and fans. Gloryland Gospel actually did a review of the project. However, it certainly did not receive the distribution that it deserved.

Now, Low Rush Music has repackaged the 2007 release and re-issued it as Rev. R. L. Bush Live Up and Close Again. The first thing that stands out about the re-release is the art work. The cover appears to have Rev. Bush mediating on the Word he desires to deliver with this recording. The cover alone will get your attention. Can’t you just see your minister in a similar pose before ascending to the pulpit on Sunday morning?

The same thirteen songs that were on the 2007 release are on the 2010 release. With the push from Low Rush, this project should finally get the broad national attention in deserves.
